GRAND CANYON

Along with all the amenities and activities to enjoy
in the town of Prescott, the surrounding area is
rich with other attractions. The world-famous,
red-rock country of Sedona is just a short drive
away. To the north, at the foot of the San Francisco Peaks, Flagstaff offers great winter skiing,
the academic resources of Northern
Arizona University, and convenient proximity to the spectacular Grand Canyon. Even the Phoenix
Metro area with everything the city has to offer—including Sky Harbor International
Airport—is only 90 minutes away.

For outdoor enthusiasts, Prescott and Yavapai
County provide limitless recreational opportunities.
Five area lakes, all located within 10 miles of
downtown Prescott, offer boating and fishing
enjoyment. The 1.2 million-acre Prescott National
Forest, which surrounds the town on three sides,
invites exploration on wilderness trails. In every
direction from Whispering Canyon, there are
wonderful ways to experience all the beauty of
Arizona’s high country.
